Sorry, can't thik of a nice note right now. I just back from an exam that I studied for all night. :-\

I found this little girl waiting against the wall here on the main street in Pisac. She seemed bothered at the time for some reason. Every once in a while she would look down the street searching for someone. The details of that morning are shakey, so I can't remember exactly what happened. The photo was taken around 9am when all the locals are moving their goods into the market to be sold to tourists and fellow countrymen. The whole scene was a organized chaos with people moving in general direction but in seperate steps and paths.

brilliant shot. I really like the contrast of a more traditionally dressed woman faded in the background of a "troubled" future. Very beautiful indeed.

I love this shot ... I can see tears in her eyes ... & sadness on her face ...
plus the unsharped part in the background tells us about the culture of the place & the region ...
The subject is sharp enough , eveything okay :-)

Too bad there's no note, but what a very nice photograph Mark. I réally like it. The puzzled look in the girl's eyes - what's wrong? - and the 'stranger' coming to her. (I don't know if it's a stranger, but the blurred image makes you thing she is.)

Excellent photo! Love the sharp focus on her eyes and the beautiful bokeh with strong color in the background. Yes, she appears somewhat unhappy...don't blame yourself! Hope your exam was good :o)

Hi Mark. The expression makes the shot (as well as the blurry person in the background). Really lovely deep colors to top off the composition. These sort of shots have way more context than just stright portraits.

This image has a story to tell and it's doing a great job. Well done.

Remarkable detail in her sweater and face. I like the closeness. It really brings you into her world. The shallow DOF retains the interesting elements of the background without being distracting.
