Women young and old flock to the small market at Ollyantambo to sell "traditional" handcrafts and goods, both of which can be disputed. International tourism has brought a lot of ugliness to the this community. For the sake of tourists, man of these women dress up in traditional clothing just so they can get money for being a model. Pictured here, an elderly woman is selling bottled water and cloth carriers.

and if they dress in "western" clothing, people complain that globalization is ruining their local culture. there is no winning.
I like how the composition creates an empty feeling, which seems to be what you were going for. i think a wide angle would have been better, getting you closer to the person and still keeping the composition.

I like that kind of image, very enigmatic. I don't know if the subject is the person or.. the wall. I like both equally.
