Photographer's Note
Came across this one while revisiting some of my older pictures and retouching them a bit.
Taken early in the morning over Machu Pichu. Hopefuly I will go back to Peru in the end of the year and I will bring back photos of lesser known sites.

Hello Daniel,
Gracias.

Hi Daniel. great shot that captures the remoteness, mystery and antiquity of this place. It looks more like a vision created by the mind, rather than a real place. The rising fog/mist adds to it a dreamlike quality. Terrific POV with those small figures below us. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Daniel,
You have captured a great mood for this famous place. I just wish I can be there. The vantage point allowed me to fully enjoy the ruins while the clouds provided the drama.
I will anxiously be waiting for your future upload of this lovely place. Great shot!!
Regards and good wishes.

le fameux Machu Pichu dans une ambiance vraiment intéressante, un très bon cadrage, et la présence de ces gens au premier plan donnent une idée des dimensions

Somewhat of a different angle from Macchu Picchu. I like the composition and the clouds add contrast. I wish the tourists were not in the picture but I understand that must be awfully hard to avoid. Regards,

Hello Daniel!
I was there on a bright sunny day and I was praying for that to happen... however, if that hadn't happened, by seeing this picture of yours, I think I would have been just as lucky!
That place with those low clouds is also a superb view for a photograph!
TFS - Congratulations!

Hmmmm,
Almost as attractive as Edirne :))
I cannot help, but WoW all the time when i see the remains of your ancestors.
At first gaze, the walls, the fog, your high POV selection and fine retouch make already a very classy Machu Pichu photo, but when you notice the tiny tourists, you realize the size, and begin to WoW.
A visitior-trap photo for sure...
Best,
Deniz
ps: Edirne is of course a must see for every photographer, but your schedule is already too crowded! Let me say, Edirne is a whole day trip from Istanbul. You take the bus at 8 o'clock in the morning, you arrive there at noon, and then turn back with the 6 o'clock bus in the evening. You come back at around 10 in the evening. If you can find a midnight flight to Eastern Turkey, then why not. Phewww, this already sounds crazier than ever...

Hola Daniel:
Una vista diferente de la que estamos acostumbrados a ver.
Un patrimonio historico y una de las nuevas maravillas, que como latinos nos enorgullesemos de difundir. Me gustan las tonalidades y en encuadre que le has dado, desde un plano inusual.

Hi Daniel,
Beautiful photo of Machu Picchu. It is the image I have in my memory. I came early in the morning, with the first bus, after heavy rain. There were no people there. I was sitting in the same place admiring the place that was my dream to visit for thirty years. The town in clouds. And only lamas came through the gate. It was marvellous view, like this photo. To far to see it again. Many thanks for sharing. Regards

i ve always wanted to see machu pichu... god knows when, man, its sooo far away from here... beautiful shot this one is, the fog around the hill adds a lot to the charm i think... the guy with the red coat is a bit distracting but who cares... good job daniel...

Salut daniel
Good to see a new post from you!
The person at left adds scale, & the mist adds mood, mystery & atmosphere, to the famous Inca ruins depicted here. Merci, et bon Lundi!

Hi Daniel,
Very impressive (classical) view of this magical site "in the clouds". Natural colours and impressive details. TFS

hi daniel,
this sight is definitely high on my wishlist - even more lovely here between fog and clouds!
i was always atracted by the stories, by the secrets these walls might hide... and you, you lucky you - you were born in Peru!
ok, tourists ... but only tiny ants ... can't really spoil the magic of the place.
thanks,
dora

Hi Daniel,
The Machu Picchu: What a wonderful archeological site!
I have been there when it was cloudy and also sunny but I think that it creates a better atmosphere when there are beautiful clouds such as in this case.
Very well-done. Thanks for sharing.
Regards,
Paul
