Photographer's Note

Machu Picchu is a city built in the heart of the Andean mountains. The city represents the zenith of the Inca civilisation.

To get there from Cusco, we had more than four hours of train, followed by 30 minutes of bus then another 30 minutes of walking. In the end, it is no surprise that the city remained hidden for centuries.

Today, the site is part of the humanity patrimony (UNESCO) and is visited by hundred of tourist every day.
