Photographer's Note

"Na, Na, Na-Na..." is what kids usually say while combining it with a gesture of mocking, sometime with both hands on the head and the fingers playing in the air...Well, I didn't expect the same gesture when I looked up toward the Complejo de Belen Church`s dome, but as you all know, surprises are coming in all kind of ways and from all directions (just not the direction you expect, of course). I would appreciate it if someone can shed some light about this unique painting...
It was a cloudy day outside, and hence, almost no light inside the dark Church and I needed to lie down on my back for a better stability.
Some info about the Complejo: It is a religious complex built in the 17th century by the Bethlemite religious order. The complex contained a Men and Women hospital (separated, of course), which consisted of claustrophobic niches in which the poor sick people were stretched in the darkness. If we thought life is hard now, don't even ask what was life back then...
