TRINIDAD, a photo from Itapua, South

Photographer's Note

TRINIDAD was build by Guarany indians and Jesuit priests during 17th century in Paraguay. There were many others villages like this in that area and Argentina and Brazil too. It was a new social experience about religion.Today it is possible to seew many details in the buildings and this way we can see how they were in the past. despite its meaning and beauty it is something difficult to produce good photos.

Hi Jorge, nice photo, too much light on the right side. Cut all around and live only door, mabe wil be better.

Olá, Jorge! Belíssima foto, bem produzida e de excelente efeito estético. É também importante mostrar o importantíssimo legado histórico das Missões Jesuíticas na Bacia do Prata, notadamente as do Paraguai, do Brasil e da Argentina. Parabéns pelo trabalho! Miguel.

Jorger, it's very mysterious and a picture worth given consideration. Obviously, the design, color and texture of this wall speaks a lot about past history.
Such buildings should be keep preserved.Because they're not only the source for tourist's attraction but also precious heritage.

Olá Jorge,
Aquela mancha de sol e o tamanho da imagem não ajudam muito, mas dá para ver que esta porta tem detalhes muito interessantes.
Acho que é a primeira foto que vejo do Paraguai, aqui no TE.
Aliás, Paraguai é um país pouco falado aqui em Portugal. Creio que a maior parte das pessoas na rua nem sabem que existe um país com esse nome. Pelo tipo de nome, algumas pessoas poderão pensar que é alguma cidade brasileira.
Uruguai também é um pequeno país, mas por exemplo no ano passado Portugal vendeu duas fragatas velhas ao Uruguai e há dias vi nas notícias que uns médicos uruguaios vinham trabalhar para cá.

Magnifica obra de arte de los siglos pasados. Esculturas muy originales y refinadas circundando la puerta vieja.
Me gusta el efecto sepia que no era de facto, si ?
