Up a Tree, a photo from Valle del Cauca, North

Photographer's Note

I was walking uphill to catch a bus back to Cali when I heard giggling and chatting to my right off the road. Upon closer investigation, I found two boys climbing these trees that rose above to heights of thirty feet. I promptly took their picture and they were very eager to pose for me. Afterwards, the boy in this photo even gave me a fruit that he picked off of branch. The fruit resembled a large green bean that had a sweet coating around the seed.

Fine capture, Mark. It is good, that this boy do not just look at your camera - here is feeling of some activity as you were outsider. Boy`s behaviour is very natural. I like light direction too. Boy has nice position there on tree. Well seen shared to us.

Mark, very nicely done! I like the subject being set in the middle of the depth of field, with blur in the foreground and background, further emphasizing your subject. He has a great expression, both posing but completely natural at the same time. He looks so at ease in the tree. Thanks for sharing!

Mark, great photo! I completely agree with the comments of the previous reviewers. How much post-processing did you do, though? You might have gotten a little too heavy on it.

I like the attitude of this boy very joker
As he is perched in a tree, the photograph gains there in originality. It is very successful with this light.
