Photographer's Note

After some time now that I didnt post any picture, I am back with scenes from Valparaiso, one of the major port cities in the Southern Continent, and the biggest in Chile. Except for it's naval old port, Valparaiso is highly regarded as a resort town, especially proximate Vina del Mar, which resides a few km's north of Valpo (it's nick)...Valpo is also known for it's scenic hill residential area, a colorfull maze of houses that dot the hills and dominant the attention of many tourists.
Even so, I decided to start with the down town, and at that, the beach front of Valpo.
I know the horizon is a bit sunken to the left, but even so I post this picture as it delivers quite nicely the freedom feel that I felt that day at the beach: the kids playing in the water, the dogs running here and there, chasing crows and pelicans (numerous of those reside smack on the beach, fearing of no one...), the amazing skies, the sunshine...just a beautiful afternoon to past the time...More to come from Valpo!
