Photographer's Note

Glacier Grey in the Torres del Paine National Park is not as easily accessible as the famous Perito Moreno. There are tours starting from the Hosteria Lago Grey twice daily (3h roundtrip boat). As far as I remember the tour was about 80USD per person but it does include a whiskey sour tasting :) Driving to Hosteria Lago Grey is adventure itself as the road is unpaved and pretty bad quality as all the roads in the park ("ripio").
I have showed already a view of the glacier itself. Here you see a view from the Hosteria Lago Grey which I took waiting for the tour. The color of the lake has a greyish tone indeed, different than mostly green color of other lakes and rivers in the park. The glacier itself is not visible here. To the right from the mountain which appears as the highest in this photo you can spot the Cuernos del Paine and just the tips of the Torres del Paine, this is a less typical perspective though so the ranges are not as recognizable as from the other side.
