Photographer's Note

The neighbourhood of Bellavista in Santiago is one of the city's most enigmatic neighborhoods. Its the city's bohemian quarter, and is to Santiago what Montmartre is to Paris. Nestled at the foot of Cerro San Cristóbal and its Metropolitan Park, Bellavista positively buzzes with a sense of excitement and creativity, with new hip restaurants, boutiques, and avant-garde galleries occupying loft spaces and lordly mansions that punctuate tree-lined streets awash with colorful antique homes. Many of the city's esteemed intellectuals and artists live in Bellavista, following in the footsteps of its most famous denizen, Pablo Neruda.

Every home and restaurant here is painted in a vivd shade, none more so than this nightclub, whose vibrat red wall caught my eye immediately!
