Photographer's Note
Here we have a view of a slope in a lower part of my municipality. We can see the upper part with a young winter corn plantation completely burnt by the frosts, pay attention and see there is a rest of green in the lower part of these plants, they were not mature yet.
In the lower part of the compo we can see a pasture completely killed by the ice and some cows trying to find food there, this year many ranchers were obligated to buy food to give to their cows and many others lost their animals, other farmers who lost the corn, gave it to feed the cows.
Pay attention in the native trees, they preserved their green, because they are adapted to the light frosts.
...............

Hi Jorge,
Very educational note and photo agin. This is such a sad story. Looking superficially I wouldn't think this is so bad. I would just see a field with some crops and cowas enjoying the outdoor.
The note made such a difference to the way we perceive this picture.
Very well done,
M

Hi Jorge,
Indeed this farming landscape no more looks green. Frost is not a good thing to plants that are not adapted for such. Good documentary shot. Uphill view with some cattle looks very nice. Needless to say, corn is not farmed in Finland.

Hi Jorge,
It is sad seeing the result of the frost. The point of view is showing the details of the cow and of the field. The light has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

hello Jorge,
This is a clear photograph, with a sad message!
The crop has been spoilt and the cows are struggling for nourishment!
I know in some parts of France, the light burners so that the warm smoke floats over the crops, to nullify the effects of the cold weather/frost. I wonder if this would be possible in your region.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Jorge,
The photo clearly shows the consequences of the cold days and nights. The few animals are well scattered around the composition and stand out from the pale green and yellow colours.

Hi Jorge
I guess that you can't be in a serious frost area if the farmers plant corn in winter so the occasional frost can cause havoc. A good informative photo and text.
cheers
Ian
