Photographer's Note

This is another city that I stayed for work in the interior of the State of Paraná. Londrina is 400 kilometers from the capital of the State of Curitiba. Its population is 575000 inhabitants. I was in the center of the city, which is the oldest part. The buildings at the back are in a new region called Gleba Palhano, until the early 90s it was an agricultural farm, but it was divided into lots to continue the expansion of the city.

Hello Walter,

What a big contrast between the houses in foreground and the skyscrapers in background.
I life on a part of rural area, I think not that I would survival in this area.
An excellent composition, sharpness and colours make your picture attractive.

Hi Walter,
This photo has some great colours and textures: the green trees, orange roofs and the bright blue sky. The high-rise buildings at the back have a variety of shapes and patterns. It's a shame that the farm, which produces food, was replaced by the concrete desert, which consumes energy and materials. The same thing is happening all around the world.
