Photographer's Note
The Cathedral of Maringá is the highest cathedral in Latin America. It is the 25th tallest religious monument in the world. Conically shaped, it has a diameter of 50 meters and a single, circular nave, with an internal diameter of 38 meters. The cone has an external height of 114 meters, supporting a cross of 10 meters, making a total of 124 meters in height. Its capacity is 3,500 people, which can be distributed in two overlapping internal galleries. Its conclusion was in the year of 1972.

Hello Walter,
From the thumbnail this cathedral reminded me of a giant, modern Christmas tree! The size is definitely impressive, and the green color shines through the dark night. I tried making a WS to crop out some of the over-exposed parts of the scene. I hope you don't mind. :-) Take care!
