ATERRISSANDO NO AEROPORTO INTERNACIONAL DE GUARULHOS - AEROPORTO GOVERNADOR FRANCO MONTORO - CUMBICA - GRANDE SÃO PAULO - ESTADO DE SÃO PAULO - LANDING IN THE GUARULHOS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - FRANCO MONTORO GOVERNOR - CUMBICA AIRPORT - GREATER SÃO PAULO AREA - STATE OF SÃO PAULO - Coming back from USHUAIA/ARGENTINA, the flight was long! First, more than three hours from Ushuaia to Buenos Aires, a stop for refueling. Then, a bit more than 2 hours from Buenos Aires to São Paulo. São Paulo's International Airport is in the neighbor city of Guarulhos (in the Greater São Paulo Area). In this picture, one can see that city's downtown, at twilight time when we were just about to land!
There's one WS version, with a slightly different pov!

Hi Ney.
The light and the composition are excellent, but it's a bit tilt and you shouldn't take pictures in the landing.
Take care.

tenho saudades desse lugar. Apesar do caos em que se encontra, ainda assim é uma "Grande" Cidade. Momento bem escolhido com a luz suave e tangencial de um fim de tarde. Belo registro!
Abraço,
Carlos

Great view, nice looking lake. Good colors, only the top of picture is overexposed and the photo was taken probably through the window, so there are some signs of reflection.
But overall it is good photo.
Thank!

Voltando a "urbis" ... ( Melhor mesmo é a natureza verde e azul, não é? )
Ótimo POV, pelo menos a janela do avião estava "limpa"!
Um abraço, Neyvan.

Hi Neyvan,
I'm thinking you pick flight schedules based on getting the best light at take-off or landing, this one is no exception.
A clean sharp image, very good capture, even better seeing you took it through an aircraft window.
Cheers

Hello Neyvan,
I fully understand your eagerness to shoot such views while landing and thanks for your thread starting a useful discussion on that topic. You have managed to capture a great impression of this busy town (although slightly tilted indeed) in the gentle twilight. I also like the colors a lot. TFS!
Warm regards
Harriet
