Photographer's Note
A little boy who works in a hot dog van in Santa Teresa. It was quite interesting to watch him trying to be natural after having seen the camera. This is one of the last pictures I made before changing to the M6. In fact, every time I look at it I understand my choice. I wish I could have done it before.

This is great. It looks almost like an image from a dream with the boy looking a bit out of place among the men in the background. The only thing that bothers me a bit (but not too much) is the fact that the man's head is cut off (the one on the left). Still, an incredible image. Well done.

*Very* good peopleshot. The casual men look good here in B&W. Well done!

An outstanding photograph. I like the contrast between the shyness of the boy and the air of confidence of the men and I like the shadows. The composition, with the three subjects not over-lapping but still forming a unity, is strong.

Shots including 3 people are often nice, there must be a golden rule hidden somewhere behind number 3.
I like the way the reading of this shot is circular : it's a never ending shot. Lots of material to get an excellent shot, a dynamic crop (I like semi cropped characters, it adds depth and dynamic) and very good shadow patterns.
Though needs to spend a couple of hours under the enlarger light to improve the shadows (burn'em with a grade 4!!!) while keeping a bright general tone.
I'd say this one owes more to Salgado style this time.
And, oh yes...please load BIGGER images, hit the 800 pix limit.

Não podia concordar mais com a visão circular da foto. Sorrisos cativantes e texturas excelentes.

Couldn't agree more with the circular vision of the photo. Captivantig smiles and great textures.

Good to see photos of my people. I am from Rio de Janeiro but I have been living in Dallas for 3 months

Nice candid. I like that no one is looking at the camera. Too bad the exposure and sharpness is a little off. Good shot.

Bela foto, Santi.
(but it´s just me ;-))
Parabéns.

Angelo, I like the way you portray your country ! those photos of people are very friendly, personally I am not so interested in the quality of the shots but I like your POV here and the framing - a photo that tells a lot !
Bravo,
See you,
Enjoy Christmas !
Cath.
