Photographer's Note

Continuing the Arraial do Cabo Series, here I was at the Forno Beach (I took more than 100 photos in this beach, and the next photos are all from there).

I walked to the end of the beach and taking photos when I was coming back to the beggining, I did that because of the sunlight.

At the end of the 500m of the beach it has a small pier from where you can take boats to access the flutuant seafood restaurant. badly this day was not working.

But I saw this little friends (that was a pair of them) looking to the sea. Probably they were looking for food. I was about 15m from him when I take the photo. I try to get close very slowly but he flew away.

Gulls (often informally called seagulls) are birds in the family Laridae. They are most closely related to the terns (family Sternidae) and only distantly related to auks, skimmers, and more distantly to the waders. Until the twenty-first century most gulls were placed in the genus Larus, but this arrangement is now known to be polyphyletic, leading to the resurrection of several genera.
