Photographer's Note

The Botanical Garden of Rio de Janeiro was created in 1803 by the regent prince at the time, D. João, to acclimatize spices from India. It was open for visitation in 1822, receiving illustrious visitors such as Albert Einstein, The Queen Elisabeth II and many others.
This path leads to the Orquidário, a place where orchids of variated shapes and beauty are cultivated.
