It’s a simple view from an amazing place, the Botafogo bay taken from the Sugar Loaf in the heights of Rio de Janeiro. On the foreground, the helicopter plateform from which you can make a tour around the Guanabara bay. In the foreground, the Corcovado (see version 1 version 2).

Rio is very nice city and this very nice picture.

hi Steven, it is a nice picture, the landscape in the background is great - especially those hills, the light is very good, good compo with the helicopter in the corner, nice shot

This is a different, and very well taken shot of a familiar landmark. Something that I always think is very difficult. Well done.

Very nice point of view of this city.
I really like those cities which have a mountian or natural part in the background. Regarding to the picture, it's a little overexposed on the sky. I'd lock the exposure there and re-compose. A nice shot anyway.

Very complex and informative. I usually like more clean comps, but this one was ok! There's a story here, and you describe something very common when travelling. Some people (including me) often wait and seek places where you can hide people and powerlines, but here you made the elements play well together. A beautiful landscape together with a story of tourists and money...
It feels tilted to the left...
