O Iate Clube, a Av. Pasteur ... Quantas e quantas vêzes já fiz este percurso, até a Praia Vermelha e a Urca, mais adiante... Saudades de um (outro) Rio de Janeiro ... Anos 60 / 70 !

The well known landmark is an eye-catcher in the composition, even the statue is well visible!
Seems like a nice time to go sailing, a couple of days before Christmas hehehe...

Olà Paulo,

Superb view of this nice and famous bay. The POV well selcetd and the large FG give a greta depht to the image and a great prospect to the hills in the BG. The white buildings and the boats, in the Ng too, give rythm and dynamism to the composition.

Olá Paulo,

What a spectacular shot with the Christ Redeemer Statue crowning the peak. It is hard to believe how large it must be to be seen from such a distance. A month from today we will be in this area I hope. Last week we had 60 cm of snow, very unusual but it created the legendary 'White Christmas.'

I wish you and your family a belated Merry Christmas and a New Year marked by health, happiness and prosperity.

The excellent balance between sea, mountain and sky; not only the thirds but also the triangle formed by the peak, the sailboat and tree. The photo is full of interesting details like the birds and sailboat in the foreground, The statue of Christ gives the compo a sense of place; while it appears that the TV towers are taller.
