Photographer's Note
The Sant'Anna Archipelago is eight kilometers off the Macae shore. Considered an ecological sanctuary, home to gulls and some species of birds that migrate from North America in the winter time. It is formed by the islands of Francês, Sant'Anna and Ilhote Sul.
The archipelago is a Municipal Park and Environmental Protection Area created in 1989.
The Sant'Anna Archipelago has traces of Brazilian prehistoric civilization in the island. It is estimated that the archipelago has 1200 years.
