Cabo Frio Religious and Traditional Art Museum

The Old Convent of Nossa Senhora dos Anjos houses the museum, which offers a permanent exhibition of sacred art from the 17th and 18th centuries and pieces of furniture. The building, dating from 1686, is listed as National Historic and Artistic Heritage.

Hello Ricardo,
The old building is very picturesque, but it is mainly the light and the colours of the sky that really make this a notable photo. You made good use of the wooden cross and the huge flag on the hilltop to frame the view of the museum.

A nice old Convent with a nice entree and lovely frontage.
Also a nice colourfull sky, the pink colours make your picture attractive.

Hello Ricardo,
The bright sunlight on the white walls of the church was well-managed and made the building as well as the cross stand out well. Also the long shadows make a nice detail.

By including the cross in the foreground you achieved more depth in the photo.

Hello Ricardo,

The mauves and pinks of the bg sunset provide a spectacular backdrop to the white washed façade of the church. Good sharpness and framing too. Tfs!
