Photographer's Note

Falling for 186m, from the walls of CANASTRA MOUNTAIN RANGE's south rim, those waterfalls are really beautiful and one of the waterfalls in Brazil I always wanted to visit! It's really close to where the SÃO FRANCISCO RIVER is born and its waters are the ones that fall in that wonderful natural spot. The river then has a very long way to go up to its mouth, in the border of the States of ALAGOAS and SERGIPE, in the NORTHEASTERN Region of BRAZIL, being the longest river running only in the brazilian territory! Those falls are inside CANASTRA MOUNTAIN RANGE NATIONAL PARK, nearby the small village of SÃO JOSÉ DO BARREIRO, in the municipality of SÃO ROQUE DE MINAS!

Bien présentée cette cascade avec ce format idéal qui la met en valeur, jolies teintes avec ce bassin aux eaux bleues au bas de l chute d'eau.

A fine capture of this tumultuous cascade. Well exposed to capture the dynamism in the rushing waters. I like the contrast between the falls and the adjacent rock faces and the well rendered textures therein.

An amzing giant waterfall, caught in full view from its trough atop down to the pond it creating.
White in fine contrast to green, rocks-grooves seem in fine sharpness.

Il fallait absolument utiliser le cadrage vertical pour faire entrer la chute au complet dans le cadre de la photo. Très impressionnante et surtout très haute cette chute. Superbe point de vue.

now thats what i call a waterfall!
I take it the waterfall is too powerful to stand at the bottom? Looks very pretty and photogenic from this vantage point. a wonderful example of Mother Nature's Wild Side.

incrível esta cachoeira, a parte de cima parece mostrar que ele nasce do céu enquanto a parte debaixo, isolada, parece uma montagem com uma cena de mar e rochas. lindo lugar e foto.
