Photographer's Note

Colégio Arnaldo – "the German priests' school", as it is called because it belongs to German priests of the Society of the Divine Word – it is a very respected institution of education in Belo Horizonte, equipped for teaching since the low age childhood until the preparation for the University.
As well as many others that had been installed in Brazil with great waves of European immigrants, at the end of 19th century and in the beginning of the 20th, Colégio Arnaldo is part of our history.

Article in Portuguese, about Colégio Arnaldo, in Deutsche Welle.

Brazil received the gift of the mixture of races and cultures. Almost all the peoples and races of the world contributed for the formation of Brazilian people. The country is a kind of synthesis of the planet.

I've converted to B&W because the sky was overexposed and also there was a red banner on the facade that did not please me. The coloured original photo is in the WS.
