The hummingbird has its origin in South America, from where it spread to the rest of the continent. Both can be found in the rainforests and in deserts, mountains and plains, adapting to all kinds of weather. Some species live in cold regions of northern Alaska, while others do well in extreme environmental conditions of South America. In every corner where there are flowers blooming, these little creatures come to visit them and take their honey.
