On the way between Rio do Sul and Buenos Aires, within the Rio Grande do Sul state are these ruins of the time of the Jesuit missions in the Americas.

The missions were abandoned under pressure from Spanish to Portuguese priests who were forming practically a Jesuit nation with indigenous armies. The Portuguese left the reduction and left the Indians to their own devices, which were gradually decimated by the Spanish.

Hello Walter,

I have a lot of interesting to the old architecture of the church, almost not to believe that everything can remain on these way.
Depth and perspective pleasant to look at.
Sharpness and clarity are very well.
A wonderful composition, an excellent presentation too.

Olá, Walter!

Até pouco tempo atrás, eu não sabia quase nada sobre essas missões jesuíticas da região, até que visitei o Paraguai no último mês de outubro e fiquei encantado com as ruínas e também com sua história. Ainda tenho que conhecer as argentinas e, claro, a brasileira, que parece estar muito bem conservada também! Lindas cores, e uma excelente composição! Belíssimo trabalho!

Uma foto de grande valor histórico e aliada à sua nota explicativa fica ainda melhor.Bela foto e excelente ângulo, mostrando a grandeza destas construções muito bem feitas para aquela época e local. Espero um dia conhecer estas missões!
