Series on my Trip to the IGUAÇU/IGUASSU FALLS - City of FOZ DO IGUAÇU (Mouth of the Iguaçu/Iguassu) - State of PARANÁ - The SOUTHERN Region of Brazil - # 007 !

VAMOS PULAR?! BRINCADEIRINHA!!! - LET'S JUMP?! JUST KIDDING!!! SAUTONS-NOUS?! JE RIGOLE!!! - A pretty close view from the brazilian side of the falls, then the canyon with the IGUAÇU/IGUAZU/IGUASSU River and a bit farther away, the argentine side of them.

When I reached this spot, it was around midday, so the sunlight was quite harsh.
The amount of water in the falls was pretty good for pictures. When the flow is high it gets pretty hard to take them there due to humidity (drizzling, sprinkling and so forth)!

I posted this picture so TE members could have a closer view to the Canyon of the Iguaçu River, as if they were exactly where I was, almost touching the falling water!

WW VERSIONS:
1) A slight different version, a bit more to the right. I didn't post this as the original one because I think it's a bit oversharpened!
2) This one includes a bit more of the flat part of the falls in the foreground!

Hi Ney,

No way, I'd never jump, not for a million dollars! ;o)
Wonderful shot which really shows the impressive force of nature. The light is a bit harsh (I suppose you shot this during the day) but you can't always pick the time you shoot a picture. Great POV which makes me a bit dizzy - standing there on the edge must have made you dizzy, too, I guess.

Hi Ney,

definetely not! But we could do some rafting together as this seems to be the perfect place. But if this too dangerous I think we can also take some fantastic photos there because the place is wonderful.

very impressive the falls of Brazilian side,that make the scene so marvellous.The whole part of the river penetrate the frame and create depth in the field.The complementary WS 2, i think has better perspective and much more colours than the original one.

é um pov diferente do comum desta área.ficou bem legal, concentrando a atenção mais no canyon do que nas quedas. O local é bem mostrado e dá idéia dos milhares de anos necessários para que a água fosse cortando toda essa rocha e recuando até onde ela está hoje. lindo enquadramento, pov, luz e e cores. bem feito

Hello Ney,
Extremely interesting place with so many waterfalls and the very picturesque river! The point of view and the shooting direction against the sun is very successful in this case, allowing viewing the play of light in the water and underlining the forms of the waterfalls. Very well captured!

Wonderful display of the raw power of nature with the water cascading down the steep drop into the raging river below.
