The city of Curitiba, Capital of the State of Paraná. It is the eighth most populous city in Brazil with 1.9 million inhabitants.

This city has a large physical area, so it does not have as many buildings as most of the major Brazilian cities. There are still many neighborhoods with houses.

The city has many public parks, and is a world reference in ecology and urban transport.

It is also the only Brazilian capital with occasional snow records during the winter.
