Photographer's Note
Here we have another image of that same area hit strongly by the frosts. You can see in the lower part the young wheat, that loves frost and dry days during this phase, in the other side of the road you can see the young winter corn plantation with some touch of green yet, but completely lost after frosts. The cactus you can see here is native of this region and don't mind about frosts.
.............

Hi Jorge, they are very common crops for me too, in fact wheat loves the cold, and here is the proverb that says that under the snow there is bread. While the situation is completely different for maize, and here you can see the results, I only grow it in the summer. Excellent photo played on graphics and lines. Have a nice week and thanks,Luciano

Hello Jorge,
The note is interesting and useful, but it's mainly an attractive view for the colours and composition. In fact you might have cropped the sky to show us only the fields of yellow and green with a brown line between them and a well placed cactus.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Jorge,
The wideness of the area is creating depth. The point of view is showing the details of the crops. The light has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Ciao Jorge
The cactus in the middle of the dry cornfield at the back contrasts well with the irrigated green fg fields. Tfs!

Hello Jorge,
I'm glad that you were able to describe the results of this photograph, otherwise, we would just see it as a fine composition, the ochre coloured road acting as a good separation line between the two different coloured crops.
Has all the corn been ruined?
How will the farmer survive?
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Jorge,
The different colours of the field and the rusty brown path in the middle go very well together. Also that lonely cactus is well included in the composition.

Hello Jorge,
Unusual for me to see a cactus in a field of crops that needs regular watering.
Very bad news for the farmer who works in the upper field.
I like the composition with the diagnoal line dividing both fields and the very strong colour contrast.
Best regards, Paul

Hola Jorge.
Bien captado
Que tengas un buen dia.

Hi Jorge,
It seems quite ironic that a plant which seems somehow related to a desert, like a cactus, could bear the frost better than other plants.
Interesting two layered composition with the lone cactus certainly decorating the scene.
Very well done,
M

Hi Jorge
A good photo showing the vagaries of nature that also provide good photo opportunities with the frost bitten and frost happy crops providing great contrast. The wheat liking frost is not what it was like when I lived in the south of our state because the frosts were very heavy so the wheat was sown for spring and not winter (areas in the warmer north go for winter crops).
cheers
Ian

Hello Jorge,
Nice study in colors, it sounds strange to hear about cacti that can withstand frosts. However, I am sure it gets cold in the deserts, too.
Regards,
MT
