Photographer's Note

You can recognize the same place in this panoramic view. That small forest reservation is located at right, with the paineira tree and its pink flowers. That white thing is the group of Nelore cows near the corral. The FG had the soil revolved by a tractor to plant a new grass. At left you can see a small volcanic peak and in the BG you can see another volcanic mountain range.
As I told you in other times, my region was a desert thousands years ago, when the Atlantic ocean was created the ground of the desert was broken in gaps and the magma came out creating these mountains and the red soil.
When I was young I thought this area could be a crater, because it is closed in three sides, but it isn't.
I was in the top of a high hill, my town is located near at left, in the top of its higher hill, but not visible in this photo. At right you could see the waters of Ivaí river at distance, but not in this image.

Vocês podem reconhecer essa mesma paisagem das fotos anteriores, com a paineira florida no lado direito da foto. Vemos o gado junto ao curral em branco e a terra estava revolvida pelo trator no primeiro plano. No lado esquerdo vemos um pequeno cume vulcânico.
Como já disse antes, nossa região era um deserto há milhares de anos e quando o Atlântico se formou o solo do deserto se abriu em várias brechas e o magma saltou para fora criando essas montanhas e a terra roxa.
Quando era criança achava que esse vale era uma cratera, pois era fechado de três lados, mas de fato não é.
Do alto dessa serrinha podemos ver várias coisas, a cidade está localizada à esquerda, mas não é visível nessa foto, já o Ivaí é visto à direita, mas também não é visível aqui.
