Photographer's Note

We had an only municipal government ruled by a woman, and it was a disaster, a pity. Anyway she created the "Fair of the Moon", a commercial event that occur at each Wednesday and Saturday night. The fair was used like a place where small farmers and local artisans can sell their products to the local people, like vegetables, bread, pamonhas, pastéis, cakes, etc. At same time it was a place for leisure.
Anyway in these last years a fight between local supermarkets puts the prices of vegetables in a lower lever and almost kill the fair.
Here it was a late Saturday afternoon, the men were waiting the arriving of the stalls of the fair to assemble them. You can see a group of stay dogs, resting while waiting a poor female to move and get a chance to produce more stray dogs.
Sorry by the lower quality of this image, they were around 100 meters far from me.
Where the dogs are was the most chic store of clothes of the town when I was a little boy, it was part of a famous group in Brazil. When the city begun its decay the shop was closed, Brazilian economy was swapped and the big enterprise almost was closed forever even in big towns. Time transforms the world, ever...
Why the lamp post is tilted? This area was hit by the tornado in 1992, the rescue had more important things to do than to put them in the right position.
