Photographer's Note
The rapture takes hold of those arriving at the Brennand Workshop, in the Várzea neighborhood, suburb of Recife. Isolated from the city by a dense forest belt, the warehouses where the São João Ceramics, founded in 1917, now function as a unique sanctuary dedicated to the arts. Behind every detail of this colossal work was the painter, sculptor, and ceramist Francisco Brennand, recently deceased on December 19, 2019, at the age of 92. The Brennand Workshop is an architectural complex formed by several building cores that occupy about 15 thousand square meters. There is a garden designed by Burle Marx, a chapel restored by Paulo Mendes da Rocha, a Temple of Sacrifice reminiscent of the massacre of pre-Columbian civilizations, distinctive galleries dedicated to pottery and painting, lakes, fountains and totems, forming an impressive museum. Open. In total, more than a thousand pieces by Francisco Brennand can be seen - and touched.

hello Ricardo,
I really like this!
You have shown us the art but presented it really well, from a photographic viewpoint.
The decreasing pillars create an excellent sense of perspective, whilst the patterned wall, crosses it on a different diagonal.
The light and the clarity are fine.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)
