São Francisco River, a photo from Alagoas, Northeast

Photographer's Note

This shot was taken on my way to the mouth of São Francisco River. The river is the third longest river in Brazil with 3.163 kms long .It crosses the Brazil Northeastern States . It’s spring is at Minas Gerais State and it’s mouth is at Alagoas State . The huts are used as shelters for fishermen or hunters .

Olá Mario, essa foto foi onde exatamente? Eu atravessei o Chico de barco para carros em 2004, numa cidade chamada Penedo, é por lá essa foto?

Ola Mario,
You have framed a really beautiful view here with outstanding detail in the classic palms, thatched huts and feathery clouds. I also like the 1/3 river separated from the sky by the finger of land and the misty hint of curving coastline in the background.
