Photographer's Note

The “Rat Fair” is the fair of the common people, where you can buy, sell, and exchange everything you can imagine and the hand can hold.
The stands stay close together for around 200 meters along both sides of the track of the only train in town. Every half hour, the locomotives whistle and people start running to remove their stuff from the tracks. Some don’t even do that. They leave the goods in the middle of the tracks, between the two sleepers. The dust and the earth ground and far from being a nuisance. For everything there’s a solution in the Rat Fair.
