A HOUSE WITH AN EAGLE, a photo from Goias, Center-West

Photographer's Note

The city of Goiás has hundreds of colonial houses, but it has marvelous samples in Art Decó and eclecticism too.
I found this small house in front of cathedral square. The light was terrible for photos and this was the best I got, a pity because the walls and window of the house has magnificent details too.

A Cidade de Goiás tem centenas de casas em estilo colonial, mas também conta com fabulosas amostras de casas em estilo Art Decó e ecletismo.
Encontrei essa pequena casa diante da praça da catedral, a luz não estava boa para fotos e essa foi a melhor imagem que consegui, foi uma pena, já que as paredes e janelas tem detalhes muito bonitos também.

Hi Jorge,
You are right, the light didn't make your job easier. I am not a big fan of almost white sky. Sadly too often I face the choice: take a photo of something interesting with poor light and white sky or not take any photo at all.
The upper part of the facade with the bird is certainly quite interesting and you did a great job covering part of the sky with the fitting tree branches.

Hello Jorge, a beautiful representation of an eagle on top of the house. I wonder if it frightens the smaller birds away?
I like your inclusion of the green leaves, they act as a frame for the eagle and the building.
