GROOVE OF BURITIS, a photo from Goias, Center-West

Photographer's Note

Goiânia have many urban parks, unfortunately I had few time to know them. This is a view of the most central one, named Groove of Buritis, buriti it is the name of a native palm tree of central Brasil, but you can't see them here, the ones ahead are imperial palm trees.
In this image we can see the white modernist building of the state of Goiás congress and some more recent buildings ahead.

Goiânia tem muitos parques urbanos, infelizmente tive pouco tempo para conhecê-los. Essa é uma vista do mais central de todos, o Bosque dos Buritis, que tem esse nome em homenagem a uma das mais belas palmeiras do cerrado, infelizmente não vista nessa foto.
Nessa imagem vemos o prédio branco e modernista da Assembleia Legislativa de Goiás e atrás dela uma barreira de prédios mais novos.

The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The pôint of view is showing the details of the buildings and of the palm trees. The light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

A really nice and well-composed view from this park. I like the mix of the trees in the foreground and the high-rises in the background, they are also very nicely reflected in the calm water of the pond.

It seems like a lovely park where the nature meets the modern architecture. Almost like the central park in NYC.
You have perfectly used the reflection in the still water.
A little bit more sunshine would probably help. You have to visit again :)

Hello Jorge, a modern looking city with a collection of skyscrapers throughout the scene. The reflections on the pool are very good especially with the inclusion of the beautiful palm trees.
