CONTRASTS OF BRASÍLIA, a photo from Distrito Federal, Center-West

Photographer's Note

Here you can recognize the same white basins of national congress, created by Niemeyer, behind you can see a newer building, used by the congress, but located in the other side of the Big Axis, if I am not wrong there is a subterranean way linking the two buildings.
When Brasília was projected there was a limited number of governamental departments, but after some years bureaucracy became to create more and more offices and structures. Nowadays each one of the republic powers have appendix buildings, anyway the congress is the one with more extra buildings.

Podemos reconhecer aqui as mesmas bacias brancas do congresso nacional criado por Niemeyer. Ao fundo aparece um prédio mais novo, um anexo usado pelo congresso.
Quando Brasília foi criada havia um limitado número de prédios para serem usados pelos três poderes da república, depois de alguns anos cada um deles começou a criar mais e mais escritórios para abrigar a crescente burocracia. Hoje em dia cada departamento tem seus anexos e o congresso é o que tem mais prédios extras.

Hello Jorge,
It's a good and artistic composition and you exposed it well despite the very large white area. I might have cropped it a bit more top and bottom, to delete the sky and the street.

Very nice find! Cropping it more tightly (in 19:9 aspect ratio) would have turned it into a nice abstract, I tried it but I'm out of my WS quota for the day.
