Photographer's Note

Probably one of the most astounding places on Earth, Salar de Uyuni is the world's largest salt flat. As far as you can see, all around you, there is nothing but the pure white of the salt and the blue of the sky.
Salar du Uyuni is 12000 sq. km and lies at 3660 m in the Altiplano plateau, in the Andes.
The Salar is also known to be the world's biggest reserve of lithium.
