Photographer's Note

Laguna colorada is a high andean lake at around 4600 meters above sea level. The lake is colored by some algae that live in it and give its water the particular red tone; lake is also colored by the thousand flamingos that nest in a huge pink colored colony. The lake is also part of the Bolivia South-west touristic circuit around salar de Uyuni.
