Photographer's Note

This is Laguna Colorada, in South Western Boliva. It is a lake at 4500 meters above sea level, which contains some algae in its water which change color with the sunlight, going from bright orange to pink, red, or purple.
The place is just fantastic.
Although very wide, the lake is only about one meter shallow, and hosts flamingoes, which are typical in the lakes of this area.
Enjoy other pictures of this area here on TE (not only my pictures, there are many beautiful ones from several other authors) as this place is really unique in the world.

This is a scan from a Velvia 50
