Photographer's Note

This is in the Bolivian Altiplano - the highest desert on earth, a nosebleed inducing 4000-5000 metres high. The landscape is some of the most surreal you will see anywhere, with deserts, wind eroded rocks, and huge salt plains that are as white as you can see. It is incredibly cold though - about -20 degrees C.
