Photographer's Note

Another sacred one, the Island of the Moon, in the Titikaka Lake, mytical place where the legend says that Wiracocha, the ancient god, created in this place, the Moon.

The Island of the moon is quite next to Copacabana, in the Bolivian side of the Lake Titikaka, that island is also called "Coati" in the Aymara dialect.

There is the ancient Inca ruins of "Ajlla Wasi", the House of the selected woman, the virgins of the sun.

They lived there, in the femenine energy island, keeping her purity and beauty, in the times of the Incas.
