(Series on my Trip to USHUAIA - TIERRA DEL FUEGO/LAND OF FIRE - ARGENTINA - From July 6th to 12th, 2008 - #002! )

CERRO CASTOR - BEAVER'S MOUNTAIN - That was my second day skiing at "Cerro Castor", the southernmost ski resort in the World! Besides skiing, my favorite sport, though I live in a tropical Country, I love watching all the fantastic landscape around those places! I usually go to the highest spot that's possible to reach and stay there some time, just enjoying the silence, the peace... take pictures and go on skiing!

"A DIFFERENT SKI RESORT: CERRO CASTOR IS SITUATED 26KM FROM USHUAIA, ON RUTA 3 (that links that city to Buenos Aires). It's the most exclusive ski resort in Argentina, the southernmost one, with unique features, different than any other one! Skiing there means enjoying the best quality snow (powder snow), thanks to the position of the mountain slope - south hillside - and its extreme location - similar to Moscow in the Northern Hemisphere! Every single detail is taken into account: trail's maintenance and leveling, high level winter gear for rent, as well as all the necessary equipments!"
