Photographer's Note
After getting down to the shore line, we saw many people scouting on a low hill rising to the left side of the lagoon. As we were quite curious (and it wasn't that far), we decided to explore a bit more and we walked along the left-side shores of the lagoon toward the hill. On our way, I noticed this guy, soaking up the sun and Sheryl crow's song immediately came into my mind . As I sang to myself the tune, I composed this guy, enjoying the intense sun rays half naked at this amazing place, surrounded by snow and far from the world worries and bustle. Soak up the sun, fellas, soak it when you can, that's what we are destined to feel and do...

Chen, great capture. Love the contrast of the snow-peaked mountain, which gives the impression that is very cold, then you direct the viewer to the bottom of the screen where this shirtless guy is sunbathing! Well seen and captured!

Another stunning landscape, Chen! The foreground elements add so much depth to this image, and the tones and colors are really nice indeed.

really nice.
There is a ton of emotion here. I think this is my favorite of your most recent images. This brings me back to my mountain guiding days.
This is exactly how I feel when hiking and I can empathize with this guy immediately. I love it.
fantastic mountian shot. it should be in a trekking magazine!

Shalom Chen,
What a shot... simply gorgeous! I like youu you included the guy in the lower half. I wish I could go there one day... very soothing...
The tonality and composition could hardly be any better. Fantastic work.

PS So sorry for the Passover massacre in Tel-Aviv... I was shocked to read of it first thing in the morning. Terrible.
