Photographer's Note

Although the Recoleta Cemetery is a very touristy place in Buenos Aires, I did not see too many photos of it yet. Narrow footpaths covered in deep shade create a unique atmosphere yet they do not help to find a wide enough point of view and they turn photographing of this place into a real challenge.

La Recoleta Cemetery is a famous cemetery located in the exclusive Recoleta neighbourhood of Buenos Aires. It contains the graves of notable people, including Eva Perón (Evita), Raúl Alfonsín, and several presidents of Argentina.

The phrase Our citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20) is a fragment of the Epistle of Paul to the Philippians, usually referred to simply as Philippians. It is the eleventh book in the New Testament. It was written by St. Paul to the church of Philippi, an early center of Christianity in Greece.
I have chosen this sentence for the title because of the large statue of an angel who is pointing up to the sky.
