Photographer's Note

A continuation from my previous post. A typical scene from La boca, where you could see street artists having their own gimmicks on entertaining lots of tourist and the attractive colorful houses. Pardon the hand and camera on the left side, tourists simply don't mind others spaces. haha

Stitching of 4 photos.

La Boca is located in the city's south-east near its old port. From our place, the bus took about 40 minutes going there. It retains a strong European flavour, with many of its early settlers being from the Italian city of Genoa. In fact the name has a strong assonance with the Genoese neighborhood of Boccadasse.

It is known among sports fans for La Bombonera the home of Boca Juniors, one of the world's best known football clubs. La Boca is a popular destination for tourists visiting Argentina, with its colourful houses and pedestrian street, the Caminito, where tango artists perform and tango-related memorabilia is sold. They also said that it is best to buy souvenir items here cause prices are cheaper.
