Photographer's Note

On my way out of the tiny and lovely town of Cachi, about 3,000 metres above sea level, my remis (a kind of taxi that people share for long journeys) stopped to pick up a lady who lived in this farm. I took the opportunity to jump out of the car and take a quick snap at the peppers that were left to dry in the courtyard - the very peppers that, at the end of summer, turn the town red. What a beautiful sight that is!

I touched up the photo in photoshop - I adjusted saturation, brightness and contrast and cropped the sides. The photo was originally taken with a compact film camera at dusk with flash (the flash just went off by itself and unfortunately gave this awful light to the photo...damn it!).

Please let me know what you think!
