Photographer's Note
Roque Sáenz Peña is a small town in Chaco province, Argentina. There is a quite important Czech and Slovak minority. Czechs and Slovak have Unión Checoslovaca, an organisation of people of Czech and Slovak origin. These two men, Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk and Milan Rastislav Štefánik, established Czechoslovakia in 1918, so they have statues in this town. The both were probably the most important persons in history of their nations. Masaryk was a professor of philosophy and sociology in the Charles university in Prague and the head of resistence against Habsburgs during WWI, Štefánik cooperated with Masaryk in exil; he was also important scientist (astronomy) and military flyer and a general of french army.
