Photographer's Note

I visited Madang on the north coast of Papua New Guinea in 1972 and found it to be one of the most delightful towns in the country that I visited during my 2 years living in PNG.
This photo shows some traditional architecture - most houses were raised with open sides and grass roofs. The one on the left is quite large and I'm afraid I don't remember whether it had any special significance.
Best to stay with this view.
