Photographer's Note
This is a view of Aoraki (or Mt Cook) from the Hooker Valley Track. This track goes from the end of the Hooker Valley Road to the terminal lake of the Hooker Glacier. In response to ifege, we walked all the way to the lake, which is on the other side of the green hill in the middle ground of the photo. By the time we got to the lake the sky was becoming cloudy and photographic conditions were not so good. I still took photos, of course.
The suspension bridge over the creek is one of three that the track passes over. They get a nice up-and-down swinging motion when you walk over them.

Hello Vincent,
**Reply on your write on my interior picture, indeed I makes never a interior picture of a church when the sun shines, to much light. **
Pleasant panorama view with the little long bridge.
Excellent depth image too.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.

Hi Vincent,
A great view of this high peak and all the green nature in the foreground. That suspension bridge is amazingly lightweight. It almost impossible to see the supporting wires against green growth.

Hi Vince
I'm glad you took my advice. The Hooker Lake walk is a spectacular one and as with when we did it you truck great fine weather too.
Another spectacular photo in, especially in the large view.
And I notice that there had only been 1 other Mt Cook posting on TE since mine 10 years ago.
cheers

Hello Vincent, an excellent view as you trekked along the track.
A good composition, with the river winding its way through, and the magnificent mountain in the background.
The bridge seems quite a long one, no wonder that it moves as you walk over it.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hi Vincent,
amazing landscape. The mountain is so very impressive and you have positioned it very nicely slightly off centre in the frame. The foreground adds so much interest with milky green water of the stream, very lush green vegetation and interesting suspension bridge.
Fantastic sky as well with nice clouds to decorate it.
Spectacular sight. Excellent work,
M

Hi Vincent,
The compositionn is well divided, the sky, the mountain and the valley. The point of view is showing the details of Mount Cook. The colors are beautiful. Have a nice day.
