Photographer's Note
The interesting suspended sculpture 'Ferns' is the work of New Zealand artist Neil Dawson & hangs above Wellington's Civic Square. This sphere, the inspiration of which cane from our country's many ferns, has an unreal effect, floating over the City Council buildings in central Wellington.

Interesting sculpture, great idea to use the shapes of fern leaves and to create a sphere, excellent capture with good light and sharpness

Hello Neil,
I was wondering how this sphere could hang alone in the sky until I saw the two strings holding it. This is a fine work of art and you did well to include the building to which it belongs so we can have a sense of scale of this sculpture. It could have been interesting to see in the WS another picture showing where the strings hang from.
Best regards,
Jean

Bonjour Neil,
Voici une image très joliment construite. Le ballon est parfaitement placé dans le ciel que nous laisse ce cadrage original.

Hello Neil,
Amazing POV of a strange but fascinating sculpture!
I like the orange reflects underneath the bowl, like if there was a burning fire below!
Very nice,
Best regards,
